As of about a week ago, I am now working two job.  My first job, Bagel King, isn't too happy that I got another job and I think they're trying to make things difficult for me.  First, I had a ton of hours there (5 and 1/2 days) , so I went to Petland, my second job, and told them the times and days I could work.  They had already made a schedule and I couldnt work either day they told me too, so they had to change it.  Then the next day when I went in to Bagel King, they had changed so I only worked 3 days.  One of those days was the one day Petland had me working.  I couln't say anything though because they didn't actually change that day.  Just the manager that was on.  The old one would have let me leave early.  The new one wouldn't.  So Petland had to change my schedule again.  I hope they don't get frustrated with me and I decide I'm not worth it.  I really really like it there.  On Saturday, my first day at Petland, I worked at Bagel King from 8-1.  Then I worked at Petland from 3-9:45.  Even though I worked all day, when I got home, my boyfriend said I seem happy.  These last two days I've been impatiently waiting for when I can go back to Petland.  I actually want to work.  Which I never thought would happen.

At Petland I'm what's called a 'Pet Counselor'  I talk to people about what they're looking for, find out about them (such as living situation) and try to pair them with the right pet.  Really though a big part of what I do is watch people and see if they look at a particular puppy for more than 30 seconds and then go grab it and bring the puppy to them to play with.  I get to hold puppies all day.  How cool is that?  I mean, yeah there's other crappy stuff too.  When a puppy goes to the bathroom in one of the play rooms, I have to clean it up.  I also have to change the other animals food and water and pretty much typical animal care stuff.  Also I have to do the incredibly dull fronting everything in the store, but they're all nessessary evils.  I don't really mind doing those.  I know it has to be done.  And yet I still love being there.

I know that if it comes down to it and Bagel King keeps making things difficult, I'm going to have to put my two weeks notice in (supposing that Petland hasn't had it with me) and just work at Petland.  I don't really want to do that, but if I have to I will.

Just thought I'd make a quick post.

Harry Potter was great.  I saw it twice the first day it came out.  Can't wait for the book.


Also I moved out of my parents house.  I've been out for about 3 weeks now.  Me and my boyfriend have a 2 bedroom/ 2 1/2 bath town house in Maitland.  I like being moved out. :)
